2nd Opportunity

Tom & Carolyn and 6 guests will be working on their driveway to their site during the weekend of September 25 and will be staying at the Main Camp.

Tom asked me to pass along the following:

"Carolyn agreed to also cook for anyone that couldn't make the regular Workweekend and needs to get their camp projects work done. Any members/guests/workers taking advantage of this should let us know so that we can have additional food available. Let us know which meals they plan to eat at the main camp by 23 September. Call 607-533-7297."

Unofficial Work Weekend

There are very few weekends when you can go to Kildare and have the entire park to yourself. Don Coon, Matt Cooper, Corey Reid, Jeff Bazinet and myself had our unofficial work weekend. We stayed at the under stocked and under supplied Little Camp and had a wonderful weekend. My parents were the only other people on the park.

When you drive through the gate, our hard work is evident from the moment you enter.

When the work was done, we found a few minutes to have a cocktail, enjoy the fire, go fishing on Stark, ride four wheelers, have a cocktail, clear shooting lanes, shoot our pistols, make a rolling tire target, have a cocktail, cook great meals, go to bed late, sleep in late, lessen the porcupine population and lastly, have a cocktail.

Work Weekend Tasks

Rally the troops!!! John will be distributing a task list at the meeting on April 30th. Don't be shy to try something new, take on a challenge and bring able bodies to share in the Kildare Experience.

Winter Weekend

Jeff Bazinet, Matt Cooper, Jim Lettiere, Don Coon, James Lettiere, myself and the entire Renzi Family went to Kildare the last weekend of January. It was a picture perfect day. Good times, good laughs.
