It was like Christmas at Kildare this weekend. Pictured with our amazing cook, Sue, are some of the new items for the kitchen. There's a new roaster, crock pot, mini-crockpot for fondue/chocolate, a few high quality knives, Cuisinart cookware, and some new stainless steel bakeware. Sue is a talented cook and will undoubtedly find lots of good uses for what we've gotten so far. I'm off to buy more from a list that she and I made this weekend and will be taking more up in a couple weeks.
Ladies weekend was rainy but relaxing. Janette Lettiere and I spent some time reading our books with a crackling fire in the wood stove and a steady rain falling on the roof. Saturday night Frank and Barb joined us and we had a lovely gourmet meal with lots of good conversation and laughter. I encourage anyone who hasn't gone up yet to make a point of clearing his or her schedule to do so. Sue and Ray are an amazing team and the camp is very warm, welcoming, and filled with delicious food!
